Tales of the high seas

The most beautiful cruising run I've ever sailed is in Jervis Bay, NSW, Australia and I've sailed in quite a few spots around the world. Go in December or January when good NE sea breezes are forecast. In a good weather cycle the breeze can blow for three or four days at 25+ and even blow through the night. Launch from Moonah Moonah Creek or Huskisson Caravan Park and sail just north of Plantation Point, jump like mad on the way, hit the bombora as you pass the reef and keep sailing all the way to the other side which would be ideally Murrays Beach. Do it with a companion and tell a friend where you're going. Sail back! Have a beer - you've earned it, because it's 30km of challenging sailing!
