Hello Guys,
Just got hold of a SL66. Just wondering what the sweetest size fin is for a 7.8 and 70kg rider. May get a Talon ,Sting or Vector.
Regards Tony.

Hi Tony,

I find the best fin for the SL66 is a C3 Sting 40cm. Sweet combo with my 7.6m. Hope this helps.

Well I have tried Sting C 3 , 40cm and found it works pretty well with my 7.5 m2 Severne NCX Pro . This fin gives you early planning in wind lows . Have tried also Deboichet custom SL2 ,40 cm and 42 cm . They both work perfectly when wind is in higher pics . I do though have to say that due to your weight (light sailor) you may have to go for a 38 cm C3. The whole compo will be blasting in winds to 15-18 knots but keep in mind not to use it in windforce more than 20 -22 knots when water gets choppy .You will have to try hard keeping it in the water . Have fun !!! -

Hi windybum,

I am about 85 kg. With my SL66 and TR-6 7.6, I mostly used Talon 40 and 42. 40 is OK in consistent winds, 42 in lighter or patchy winds. I also have a 38 now (in /9.0 thickness) and plan to use with 7.0, or 7.6 higher end. Also have a 44 that can be useful in the very light stuff, but probably will only go under the SL75 once I receive it.
