I was very interested with the topic about fins choice.
To complete it, I would like to share base position in the mast track.
At the moment, I set my mast track for 6.7/6.0/5.5 at 137.5 cm from the tail on my CA 58, which is 5mm back the middle of the track. Back in time, I was at 136.5 with a 1/2 cm lower boom and had a great balance too.
I found out the most forward base and higher boom gives me a lower nose in chop with also a lower pressure on the back foot at speed.
Fins used C3 Venom V2. 36 with 6.7, 34 with 6.0 and 32 with 5.5
