Carbon Art are excited to release a Formula board range - we have been reviewing the Formula Racing market for quite some time and now believe that we have developed the best solution that will provide overall-performance and durability.
Our 3 different sizes are designed to cater for the wide range of sailor weights and basically we feel it is impossible for a 70 kg sailor to get the same formula performance from a board that a 90 kg sailor is winning races on.
The Carbon Art Formula board design is a very simple and clean design solution.
Developed with a Formula specific Pro Model construction - which utilises the properties of Kevlar/Nomex honeycomb and Carbon - makes the CA Formula the highest spec boards on the market today, and combined with CA’s unparalleled build quality will give you an absolute racing machine.

| Rocker | It has a smooth rocker with just enough curve to literally glide over chop without catching |
| Outline | The outline has it’s highest amount of curve in the nose section, the amount of curve in the outline reduces as you move towards the tail for minimal drag and an extremely clean release. |
| Clean Release | The rails are a 90 degree box style with no tuck or bevel for the cleanest release possible. This style of rail is only possible because the rocker and outline have been designed utilising our CAD system - which has unique curve analysis software, allowing for the creation of perfect curves. |
| Real Features when required | A stand-out unique feature with the CA Formula is that it has no cutouts!! The design is working very efficiently so these are not required. |

Carbon Art Formula Boards come in three different models. Which one you choose will depend on your weight and height, and the conditions that you will be using your Formula board in. Delivering the precision and ultimate performance board you expect from Carbon Art.

How to Order, FAQ's
How do I order a board?
Click on the image of the board that you would like to buy, choose which additional options that you would like – construction, colours and graphics, and thenpress the Buy Now button - you can now either continue shopping and add another board or checkout. To Checkout you need to complete the next steps, supply your details (where to send the board) and select how you want to pay, then simply check all the details are correct and confirm your order. We will send you an email confirming that we have received your order.
How will the board/s be sent?
Boards orders are freighted door to door. (New Zealand orders are freight free).
Is there a discount for ordering more than one board?
Discounts are applied to the freight component for multiple orders (the savings is equal to 20% off total freight for 2 boards, and 50% off total freight for 3 or more boards).
Can I make a deposit and pay the rest before delivery?
Payment in full is preferred however we do accept deposits of 50% to place the order into production, and the remaining 50% payment before delivery.
What is the time frame for manufacturing and delivery?
3-4 weeks for production of a board and within delivery usually within 1-2 weeks.
